After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Eastmont, The Eisenhower Cadets were happy to have found some success on Friday. They strolled past Cheney with points to spare, taking the game 24-7. This was payback for Eisenhower, who suffered a 28-20 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Judah Oldenkamp threw for 143 yards and two touchdowns. Demitrius Corbray was his top target, picking up 54 receiving yards and a touchdown. On the ground, Greysen L sartain rushed for 96 yards.
Eisenhower's victory was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 3-6. Admittedly, the team didn't face the toughest opposition across those games, namely Cheney, West Valley, and Davis. As for Cheney, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eisenhower will take on Lewis & Clark at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cheney, they have the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome Walla Walla at 6:00 p.m. on November 2nd. Walla Walla is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
