The Little Elm Lobos had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.4 points), and they went ahead and made it ten on Thursday. They blew past North Forney 54-34. Given Little Elm's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 27th, while North Forney is ranked 313th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Little Elm's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Shiloh Kimpson led the charge by scoring 16 points. The matchup was Kimpson's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Amina Diallo, who scored 11 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals.
Little Elm's victory bumped their record up to 14-2. As for North Forney, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.
Little Elm's road trip will continue as they head out to face Boswell at 6:00 p.m. on November 30th. Boswell is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for North Forney, they will square off against Lancaster at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lancaster has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
