6A Region 1 recap Nov. 7, 2012
McGill-Toolen extended the longest winning streak in 6A Region 1 this week by beating Sumter Central, 51-0. The victory was the 11th in a row for the team.
Montgomery and Rain played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Montgomery eventually emerging with a 17-12 victory.
Thanks to the talents of Forrest Anderson and Berron Tyson Baker has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Anderson leads the league in passing with 511 yards, while Tyson has rushed for 1674 yards this season. Murphy's Michael Hudson leads the league in receiving yards with 332 on 21 catches.
McGill-Toolen took down the Jaguars 51-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
