Independence typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Centennial proved too difficult a challenge. They put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won six in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-13, 25-21.

Alexis Anderson paced Centennial's offense, picking up ten kills. Anderson got some help from Madison Victoriano and her 21 assists.

Centennial's victory bumped their record up to 23-7. As for Independence, they moved to 12-10 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Centennial is set to face off against their familiar foe Memorial at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Independence will square off against rival Heritage at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
