Hazleton Area is a perfect 10-0 against Crestwood since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Cougars will host the Comets at 4:30 p.m. Hazleton Area is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.

Hazleton Area took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They came out on top against Parkland by a score of 4-1.

Logan Hearity was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most runs he has posted since April 1st. Another player making a difference was Bryant Diaz, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double.

Hazleton Area was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Parkland only posted a batting average of .192.

Meanwhile, Crestwood was able to grind out a solid win over Berwick on Friday, taking the game 5-2. The victory continues a trend for the Comets in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won three in a row.

Hazleton Area's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Crestwood, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Hazleton Area came out on top in a nail-biter against Crestwood when the teams last played on April 11th, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Comets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
