Madison-Grant was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Elwood on Thursday. The Argylls blew past the Panthers 21-6. The result was nothing new for the Argylls, who have now won ten matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Madison-Grant got a massive performance out of Andy Stanley, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those two RBI gave Stanley a new career-high. Xavier Yeagy was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Madison-Grant always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .683. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Madison-Grant's victory bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Elwood, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 17 of their last 18 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-22 record this season.

Madison-Grant will face off against Warren Central at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Elwood, they will square off against Rochester at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
