Denton had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They managed a 44-38 victory over the Birdville Hawks. That's more bragging rights for the Broncos, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Denton's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-6. As for Birdville, they dropped their record down to 4-9 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.
