There's no place like home for The Northeast Metro RVT Knights, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They took down Dracut 30-14 on Saturday.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Northeast Metro RVT to victory, but perhaps none more so than Devin Nieves, who rushed for 125 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Zullo, who rushed for 86 yards and a touchdown.
Northeast Metro RVT's victory was their third straight at home , which pushed their record up to 4-5. Admittedly, the team didn't face the toughest opposition across those games, namely Dracut, Greater Lowell Tech, and Greater Lawrence Tech. As for Dracut, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.
Northeast Metro RVT will head out on the road to face off against Whittier RVT at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dracut, they will be playing in front of their home fans against East Boston at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Massachusetts (East Boston is ranked 263rd, while Dracut is ranked 248th).
