The Chilton Pirates will head out on the road to face off against the Milano Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Chilton will be strutting in after a victory while Milano will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Friday, Chilton strolled past Iola with points to spare, taking the game 38-22.
Meanwhile, Milano's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against Granger, falling 51-14.
Chilton's win was their 11th straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 8-1. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 24 points. As for Milano, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Everything went Chilton's way against Milano in their previous meeting back in November of 2022 as Chilton made off with a 28-7 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Chilton since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
