The Madison Plains Golden Eagles struggled with  threes on Monday (the Central Crossing Comets had 1000% more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Madison Plains lost to Central Crossing on the road  by a decisive  53-39 margin. Madison Plains has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Madison Plains' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Claire Mason, who  scored 13 points along with 6  rebounds and 6  steals. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kenzie Vallery, who  scored 13 points along with 5  rebounds.
 Central Crossing's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Cordelia Watkins, who  scored 9 points along with 14  rebounds and 4  steals. Watkins hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games.  Cheyenne Taylor was another key contributor,  scoring 15 points.
 Madison Plains' loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Central Crossing,  the  victory  got them back to even at 2-2.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Madison Plains will take on Catholic Central at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Central Crossing, they will play host again and welcome Lancaster, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
