Temple Christian hasn't had much luck against Kenston Forest recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Temple Christian Crusaders will take on the Kenston Forest Kavaliers at 9:00 a.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Temple Christian's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Westover Christian Academy as Temple Christian made off with a 20-0 victory.

Addison Camden and Reagan Hensley were a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Camden tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Hensley pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, Camden posted five strikeouts, the most she's had since back in March of 2024. At bat, Camden scored two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances, while Hensley scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
In other batting news, Temple Christian let Alyssa Conner and Paylin Harris run wild. Conner scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-3, while Harris scored three runs while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Reagan O'Neill, who scored a run while getting on base in both of her plate appearances.
Temple Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .611. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Westover Christian Academy only posted an OBP of .118.
Meanwhile, Kenston Forest got the win against Tidewater Academy on Thursday by a conclusive 15-0.
Kelsey Marshall (2025) made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). Marshall (2025) was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Addie McDaniel (2025), who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Aubrey Mayton (2026) was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
The win got Temple Christian back to even at 1-1. As for Kenston Forest, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.
