Kelliher/Northome got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kate Thayer out in front who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten steals. Thayer is crushing the point category: she's posted at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ella Thayer, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 14 rebounds.
Littlefork-Big Falls dropped their record down to 0-20 with that defeat, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 28.1 points per game. As for Kelliher/Northome, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Littlefork-Big Falls will challenge Fond du Lac Ojibwe O at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Littlefork-Big Falls is facing Fond du Lac Ojibwe O at the right time seeing as Fond du Lac Ojibwe O is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Kelliher/Northome, they will head out on the road to face off against Laporte at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
