Citrus Hill had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 14-run drubbing they dealt Perris on Tuesday. The Hawks blew past the Panthers 15-1. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Tatum Pino made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.

In other batting news, Julissa Sandoval was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Roxxan Sandate was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances.

Citrus Hill always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .610. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Citrus Hill's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Perris, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.
