Making Waves Academy not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since October 15, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They blew past the Ygnacio Valley Wolves 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Marlins, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-11, 25-20.

Abigail Delgadillo paced Making Waves Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Delgadillo got some help from Estefany Ballesteros and her ten assists. Jaslyn Sequiera controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

The victory made it two in a row for Making Waves Academy and bumps their season record up to 2-5. As for Ygnacio Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Making Waves Academy will challenge Quarry Lane at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ygnacio Valley, they will take on San Lorenzo at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
