They secured a 51-47 W over George Washington on Wednesday. That's another feather in the cap for Frankford, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Frankford to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cameren Lane, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds. Lane is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Doron Ross, who scored nine points.
Despite the loss, George Washington still got an impressive performance from Aidan Berry, who went 6 for 11 from beyond the arc en route to 24 points and 0 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Berry has scored all season. Anderson Dorvil was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with eight rebounds.
Frankford's victory bumped their record up to 7-13. As for George Washington, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-8.
Frankford will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Huskies at 1:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Pennsylvania (Paul Robeson is ranked 440th, while the Pioneers are ranked 435th). As for George Washington, they will head out on the road to square off against the Railsplitters at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
