Colonial - Liberty recap September 17, 2013
Devin Bates of West Deptford ran for the longest rushing play in Colonial - Liberty this season against Gateway Regional last week. Bates scampered for 75 yards on the play and finished with 137 on the day as his team topped the Gators.
Collingswood was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from sixth to third in the league. The Panthers vanquished Lindenwold 48-6 earlier in the week.
Haddonfield's dynamic duo of Mike McLaughlin and Ted Stevetski proved to be unstoppable against Audubon, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. McLaughlin threw for 115 yards and Stevetski had 53 yards receiving.

Patrick Porter made the biggest impact on defense this week as Haddonfield beat Audubon. The 6-foot-3 senior grabbed 2.0 sacks.
Gerald Owens provided a threat through the air and on the ground as West Deptford bested Gateway Regional.
Stevetski was the best receiver in the league this week as Frank DeLano's team topped Dominic Koehl's team.
Owens was the best running back in Colonial - Liberty this week. He ran for 205 yards on 10 carries as Clyde Folsom's team defeated the Green Wave.
McLaughlin put up the best numbers in passing as Haddonfield defeated Audubon.
The Bulldawgs' McLaughlin and Stevetski have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-11 quarterback McLaughlin has thrown for 115 yards this season, while Stevetski has 2 catches for 53 yards. The Eagles' Owens leads the league in rushing yards with 205.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Haddon Heights takes on Sterling. At the moment, the Garnets are in sixth, while the Silver Knights are in fourth.
Sterling scaled the state rankings by moving to 144 from 178 this week, the biggest jump in the league. Clint Wiley's team climbed the ranks as a result of topping Haddon Township 40-6.
