Saguaro gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They walked away with a 55-44 victory over Flagstaff.
Saguaro's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nashoba Redhouse, who scored 18 points along with 3 steals. Trae Kaye was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Meanwhile, everything went Dysart's way against Bradshaw Mountain on Tuesday as Dysart made off with a 65-42 win.
Dysart's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nate Morales, who scored 20 points. Another player making a difference was Lamar Anderson, who scored 11 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
Saguaro's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Dysart, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Things could have been worse for Saguaro, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 69-51 loss to Dysart when the teams last played back in December of 2022.
