Gleason can bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Fulton City a 19-0 shutout. Gleason's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Gleason's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Fulton City, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gleason will head out to challenge Lake County at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fulton City, they will venture away from home to take on Meridian at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
