Northside's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cherish Blackmon, who scored 18 points along with three blocks. Those 18 points set a new season-high mark for her. Hazley Grotjohn was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with six steals.
Rogers' loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Northside, their victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-3.
Rogers will square off against Har-Ber at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Har-Ber's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three games. As for Northside, they will be playing at home against Bentonville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Bentonville will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
