Masuk has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Bethel Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
Last Monday, Masuk was the victim of a tough 60-34 loss at the hands of the Mustangs. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Masuk has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Bethel's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fourth straight loss. They fell to New Milford 68-62. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Masuk has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season. As for Bethel, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-11.
Masuk beat the Wildcats 53-42 in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Masuk since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
