Even though the Flat Rock Rams have not done well against the Trenton Trojans recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. Flat Rock managed a 39-35 victory over the Trojans. The win made it back-to-back wins for Flat Rock.
Flat Rock's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Addi Kopp led the charge by scoring ten points along with six rebounds. Lily Klein was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with 13 rebounds.
Flat Rock is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Trenton, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-4.
Flat Rock will head out on the road to challenge the Jets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Airport presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Rams in Michigan (the Jets are ranked 99th, while the Rams are ranked 231st). As for Trenton, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Chiefs at 6:00 p.m.
