Berne Union suffered their biggest defeat since December 15, 2023 on Tuesday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 46-25 walloping at the hands of Fairfield Christian Academy. Berne Union has struggled against Fairfield Christian Academy recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, even though Bishop Rosecrans scored an imposing 55 points on Tuesday, Grove City Christian still came out on top. Grove City Christian managed a 59-55 victory over Bishop Rosecrans.
The match pitted two dominant guards against one another in Caleb Ransom and Grady Labishak. Ransom had a great game and scored 17 points along with eight assists and five rebounds. Meanwhile, Labishak was balling out in the loss, scoring 20 points.
Berne Union dropped their record down to 2-12 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Grove City Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.
Berne Union was dealt a bruising 83-23 defeat at the hands of Grove City Christian in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. The contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Berne Union was down 58-18.
