Zaiden Davis' Big Game Leads Centennial over Organ Mountain
Centennial picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Zaiden Davis. Davis turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 104 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, while also throwing for 105 yards and two touchdowns.
Centennial pushed their record up to 8-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. Davis will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Clovis on Friday.

On Thursday, Alamogordo had to settle for second even though Dylan Hergenreder put up the best numbers he has all season. Hergenreder rushed for 141 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Alamogordo is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8. Hergenreder and Alamogordo will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Clovis at 7:00 p.m. on November 1st.

Rudy Rios Dazzles in Centennial Win
Rudy Rios was instrumental in extending Centennial's winning streak to eight on Friday. Rios was unstoppable, rushing for 52 yards and three touchdowns, while also catching a touchdown.
For the season, Rios has run in 12 touchdowns while averaging 81 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging four rushing yards per game.
