The Shenandoah Valley Blue Devils's seven-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They blew past Columbia Montour Vo-Tech 73-49. Shenandoah Valley's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Brandon Boris had an outrageously good game as he went 11 for 23 from beyond the arc en route to 37 points and 1 assists. He also grabbed two+ steals for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Najda, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds.
Shenandoah Valley's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-10. As for Columbia Montour Vo-Tech, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shenandoah Valley will take on Antietam at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Antietam focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Thursday. As for Columbia Montour Vo-Tech, they will head out on the road to face off against Muncy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Muncy will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
