Pittsfield is 8-2 against the Rams since December of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Pittsfield Panthers will head out on the road to square off against the Nute Rams at 6:30 p.m. Pittsfield is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
Last Friday, Pittsfield ended up a good deal behind the Mules and lost 60-41.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Brayden Pelletier, who scored 14 points. That was a full 34.1% of Pittsfield's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Justin Rivera was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Meanwhile, Nute was the victim of a tough 66-43 loss at the hands of the Eagles on Friday.
Pittsfield's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Nute, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.
Things could have been worse for Pittsfield, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 55-40 loss to the Rams in their previous matchup back in January. Can Pittsfield avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
