It was another big night for Kinsley Molden, who scored 23 points along with two steals for Southwestern. Payton Acey was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Rockcastle County's defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-4. As for Southwestern, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.
Rockcastle County will head out on the road to take on Whitley County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Whitley County will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Kentucky Rankings (they are ranked 104th, while Rockcastle County is ranked 20th). As for Southwestern, they will be playing in front of their home fans against McCreary Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. McCreary Central has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
