That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 25.2 points per game. As for Southside Christian, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crossroads Christian Academy will take on Brunswick Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Southside Christian will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Faith Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on February 5th. Southside Christian will be up against Faith Christian Academy's rather soft defense (which has allowed 50.8 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive showing.
