It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Stephenville Yellow Jackets/Honeybees had no problem doing just that on Friday. They came out on top against Carter by a score of 20-10. The win was familiar territory for Stephenville who now have eight in a row.
It was another big night for Ryan Gafford, who rushed for 87 yards and a touchdown. Noah Bullion also helped out with an impressive 89 receiving yards.
Stephenville's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Carter, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.
Stephenville will take on Celina at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Carter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
