Softball Recap: Mamou Snags Third Win in Last Four Games

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Mamou walked away with it. They beat the Westlake Rams on Saturday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 10-1. The result was nothing new for the Demons, who have now won 11 contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Mamou has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-16-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Westlake, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-15.

As of now, neither Mamou nor the Rams have any future games scheduled.
