Walsh extended the longest winning streak in A-8 South - Arkansas Valley (8 Man) this week by beating Holly, 46-7. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Eagles.
Granada led the league in scoring this week after putting up 66 points on Wiley.
The Wildcats' dynamic duo of Hayden Davis and Colby Salisbury proved tough for Walsh to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Davis threw for 32 yards and one touchdown and Salisbury had 29 yards receiving. Porter Salisbury helped Holly's passing attack out by catching three balls for 23 yards.
Kody Wallace was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 12 carries, he ran for 186 yards as the Panthers fell to Ronny Tate's team. Teammate Zane Tempel added to the ground attack by rushing for 20 yards.
Scott Hodgson's team's Christian Orozco and Salisbury have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading A-8 South - Arkansas Valley (8 Man) in both passing and receiving yards. Orozco has thrown for 484 yards this season, while Salisbury, a 5-foot-10 receiver, has 24 catches for 242 yards. Wiley's Wallace leads the league in rushing yards with 448.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when the Wildcats take on Brock Shalberg's team. Holly's offense has racked up 79 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while the Panthers have allowed only 346 on the year.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Cheyenne Wells takes on the Eagles. At the moment, the Tigers are in fourth, while Walsh is in first.
There should be lots of points scored when Wiley and the Wildcats face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Panthers comes in having scored 64 this season, while Holly has scored 79. Wiley scored 12 points last week as it lost to the Bobcats.
