After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Phoenix Christian, Fountain Hills was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They put the hurt on the Tempe Prep Knights with a sharp 21-3 win. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by ten runs or more this season.
Shania Rivera was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Rivera was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024.
In other batting news, Kenadie Meyen was a standout: she got on base in three of her four plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.
