Eaglecrest gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They really took it to the Rangeview Raiders for the full four quarters, racking up a 50-6 victory. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 36-6.
Eaglecrest's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was William Brinkman, who rushed for 48 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also threw for 180 yards and two TDs. Another rusher making a difference was Clyde Surrell, who gained 145 total yards and two touchdowns.
