Danbury won against High Island last Saturday with 51 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Danbury Panthers secured a 51-45 W over the Baytown Christian Bulldogs. The win was familiar territory for the Panthers who have now won five matchups in a row.

Danbury has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Baytown Christian, their defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Danbury will take on Hardin in a tournament on Friday. Danbury is facing Hardin at the right time seeing as Hardin is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
