Lehi needed a changed in momentum after dropping eight straight matches and they got it from Savannah Morehead. The Pioneers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cottonwood Colts on Monday with plenty of help from Morehead, who had four digs and three aces. She has been hot recently, having also posted 15 or more assists the last four times she's played.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Lehi took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-11, 25-15.

The victory got Lehi back to even at 11-11. As for Cottonwood, they dropped their record down to 7-20 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Lehi will be playing at home against Skyridge at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cottonwood, they will face off against Highland at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
