One reason for the win was Daviess County's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. Gillam Nicodemus was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two sacks himself.
Central Hardin's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-5. As for Daviess County, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season.
