The White County Warriors won the last time they faced the DeKalb County Tigers, and things went their way on Friday too. White County took down DeKalb County 42-24.
Leading White County to victory were Tripp Pinion and Cole Sims. Pinion scored 17 points along with two steals, while Sims dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Sims has scored all season. Gage Stephenson was another key contributor, scoring four points along with eight rebounds.
The victory got White County back to even at 9-9. As for DeKalb County, they dropped their record down to 9-9 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Stone Memorial the next time they take the court. DeKalb County will host Stone Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, while White County will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
