The Harriman Blue Devils's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a 51-36 bruising from Sunbright. While losing is never fun, Harriman can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 326th, while Sunbright is ranked 26th).
Harriman's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ansley Moore, who scored 9 points. Another player making a difference was Peyton Graham, who scored 5 points along with 5 rebounds.
Harriman has yet to win a game at home this season, leaving them with a 1-5 record. As for Sunbright, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harriman has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Jellico at 6:30 p.m. on December 12th. Sunbright will take on Oliver Springs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
