Fans got a thrill when Ethann Gates and Tanner Sweeten connected against Sasakwa. The connection was good for 99 yards, the longest such play in C District 4 (8 Man) this season.
The Vikings' Floyd House recorded the longest rushing play in the league this season in his game against Arkoma last week. House's team fell to the Mustangs as he sprinted for 85 yards on the play and finished with 191 in all.
Sweeten had a great week catching the football as Arkoma beat Johnie Loggins' team. He caught 9 passes for 339 yards.
Gates threw for 416 yards and 7 touchdowns. He was 14-20 with 2 interceptions.
House made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Vikings lost to Mark Weatherton's team. The 5-foot-7 senior.
House was the best running back in the league this week. He ran for 191 yards on 16 carries as Sasakwa topped Sasakwa. Cody Harjo also contributed to the rushing game with 124 yards on the ground.
Arkoma's Gates and Sweeten led C District 4 (8 Man) in both passing and receiving yards. Gates has thrown for 922 yards this season, while Sweeten, a 6-foot-3 receiver, has 27 catches for 678 yards. The Vikings' Harjo leads the league in rushing yards with 589.
