While Baldwin put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Thomas County Central. The Baldwin Indians came out on top in a nail-biter against the Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets, sneaking past 1-0. The one-run effort marked the Indians' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Baldwin got a great performance from Cooper Farah as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over six innings pitched. What's more, Farah gave up only zero earned runs, the fewest he's had since back in March of 2024.

Baldwin now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Thomas County Central, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Baldwin and Thomas County Central's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Baldwin will take on Valdosta at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, a team that's only allowed 3.67 runs per game. Baldwin is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.
