While it was all tied up 12-12 at halftime, the Lago Vista Vikings were not quite the Concordia Lutheran Crusaders's equal in the second half on Friday. Lago Vista fell 30-22 to Concordia Lutheran. While losing is never fun, Lago Vista can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 821st, while Concordia Lutheran is ranked 295th).
Mia Kinslow was Lago Vista's leading scorer, having posted six points.
Addison Lockhart held things down on the boards with six rebounds.
Lago Vista's loss was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 5-9. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 29.3 points per game. As for Concordia Lutheran, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-3.
Lago Vista will stay at home for another game and welcome Troy at 6:30 p.m. on December 8th. Concordia Lutheran is on the road again on Saturday and play against Weatherford at 9:30 a.m. on December 9th. Weatherford has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
