The Tri County Trojans won the last time they faced the Johnson County Central Thunderbirds, and things went their way on Saturday too. Tri County took down Johnson County Central 62-45. With that win, Tri County brought their scoring average up to 53 points per game.
Leading Tri County to victory were Cameron Reynolds and Caden Bales. Reynolds scored 23 points along with 6 rebounds, while Bales scored 24 points along with 8 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Bales has scored at least 25% of Tri County's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Drew Siems, who scored 8 points.
Tri County's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Johnson County Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Tri County will be playing at home against Pawnee City on Tuesday. Hopefully Pawnee City focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Friday. As for Johnson County Central, they will head out on the road to face off against Southern on Tuesday.
