The Coshocton Redskins will be playing in front of their home fans against the Meadowbrook Colts at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meadowbrook took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Coshocton, who comes in off a win.
Even though Maysville scored an imposing 60 points on Friday, Coshocton still came out on top. Coshocton narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Maysville 63-60. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Coshocton.
Colton Conkle was on fire: he scored 24 points along with 6 rebounds and 6 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Coshocton's points. Logan Lonsberry was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Meanwhile, Meadowbrook's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 69-28 defeat at the hands of Sheridan.
Colton Delancey put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 10 points along with 9 rebounds. The matchup was his third in a row with at least ten points.
The wins kept both teams' perfect 2-0 season records intact.
Everything went Coshocton's way against Meadowbrook in their previous matchup back in January as Coshocton made off with a 77-51 win. Will Coshocton repeat their success, or does Meadowbrook have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
