The Americas Trail Blazers can now show off 12 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Eastlake as Americas made off with a 46-20 victory. The victory was familiar territory for Americas who now have five in a row.
AIDEN MARQUEZ continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 18 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was JOSH PICHARDO, who scored 11 points.
Several Falcons players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Braeden Quigley, who scored four points.
Americas has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 23-2 record this season. As for Eastlake, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-12.
Americas will look to defend their home court on Friday against Pebble Hills at 7:30 p.m. Pebble Hills will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 305th, while Americas is ranked 93rd). As for Eastlake, they will head out on the road to challenge Socorro at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Socorro is out to stop a six-game streak of losses at home.
