Glenn is on a three-game streak of home losses, South Bend Clay a six-game streak of away losses (dating back to last season), but someone's luck is about to change. The Glenn Falcons will take on the South Bend Clay Colonials at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the pair posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Glenn gave up the first points last Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They claimed a resounding 53-20 win over South Bend Washington on the road. The victory was just what Glenn needed coming off of a 37-14 defeat in their prior contest.
Chase Miller looked great while leading his team to the win, rushing for 56 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 109 yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, South Bend Clay got themselves on the board against North Newton back in September, but North Newton never followed suit. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Spartans 54-0 at home.
Their wins bumped Glenn to 5-4 and South Bend Clay to 1-5.
Everything came up roses for Glenn against South Bend Clay in their previous meeting back in October of 2022 as the team secured a 49-6 victory. Does Glenn have another victory up their sleeve, or will South Bend Clay turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
