Red Bluff hadn't done well against Shasta recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Friday. Red Bluff got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Mason Lyford out in front who rushed for 55 yards and one  TD, and also threw for 44 yards and one  touchdown. Another receiver making a difference was  Cj Bartsch, who picked up 97 receiving yards and a pair of  scores.
 Red Bluff didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Jackie Graves and  James Ramey. Ramey also set a new season-high mark in  total tackles with nine.  Jaret Bridwell was another major factor on D,  making 16 total tackles (1.0 for loss).
The  win made it two in a row for Red Bluff and  bumps their season record up to 7-2. The  victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 48.0 points over those games. As for Shasta, their loss was  their fourth straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 2-7.

The two teams have allowed few  points on average (the Spartans 12.4, the Panthers 13) so any  points scored will be well earned.
