Seton Catholic hasn't had much luck against Valley Christian recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Sentinels will head out on the road to take on the Trojans at 6:30 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Seton Catholic 2.4, Valley Christian 2.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Zuluaga wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Courtney Campbell, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. Campbell is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.
Meanwhile, Valley Christian waltzed into their game on Wednesday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. They never let the Prospectors get on the board and left with a 27-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won 18 contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Like Seton Catholic, Valley Christian also got a great game from a two-way player: Makay Fraley. Throwing, Fraley pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Noemi Piraino tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, she posted three strikeouts, the most she's had since back in February. At bat, Fraley went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI, while Piraino went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Those four runs gave Jarles a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Leigha Kremlacek, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI.
Valley Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 21 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in 12 consecutive matchups.
Valley Christian's record is now 21-3. As for Seton Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-2.
Thursday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Seton Catholic has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .485. However, it's not like Valley Christian struggles in that department as they've averaged .587. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Seton Catholic might still be hurting after the 11-0 loss they got from Valley Christian in their previous meeting last Tuesday. Can the Sentinels avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
