The Rockford Rockets won against the Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted Lakers on Friday with 67 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Rockford breezed by the Lakers at home to the tune of 67-37. That's two games straight that Rockford has won by exactly 30 points.
Rockford can attribute much of their success to Sienna Thomas, who scored 14 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Thomas has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Nora Piela, who scored eight points.
The win makes it two in a row for Rockford and bumps their season record up to 8-12. As for Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.
Rockford will head out on the road to take on the Dragons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Litchfield is on a five-game streak of home losses, the Rockets a six-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted will take on the Chargers at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
