 Like Falkner, Pine Grove also got a great game from a two-way player:  Lizzie Meeks. On the mound, she  pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off   one  hit. Meeks has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in six consecutive pitching appearances. Meeks was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with three  RBI and a  double.
 In other batting news, Pine Grove got a  massive  performance out of  Lexi Beard, who  went 3-for-3 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and two  doubles.  Madison Foster was another key contributor,  going 3-for-3 with three  runs, two  doubles,  and a  triple.
 Falkner now  has a winning record of 8-7. As for Pine Grove, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won six of their last eight games,  which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record  this season.
 Falkner suffered a grim  10-0 defeat to Pine Grove  in their previous meeting  last Saturday. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of   Foster, who   didn't allow a single  earned run and  only two  hits over five innings pitched.
