After losing to the Escondido Cougars the last time they met, the Fallbrook Warriors decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Fallbrook claimed a resounding 73-38 win over Escondido at home.
Leading Fallbrook to victory were Elliott Watkins and Samuel Carmona. Watkins scored 15 points along with five rebounds and three steals, while Carmona dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Thomas, who scored six points along with three blocks and two steals.
Fallbrook has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 13-14 record this season. As for Escondido, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-17.
Fallbrook does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Escondido also has no future games currently scheduled.
