After four games on the road, Parkview Christian Academy is heading back home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Mooseheart Red Ramblers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 70-41, which was the final score in Parkview Christian Academy's tilt against Families of Faith Christian Academy on Friday. Parkview Christian Academy has not had much luck with Families of Faith Christian Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Christian Mulder, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. That's the first time this season that he pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Bernicky, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds.
Even though they lost, Parkview Christian Academy were smashing the offensive glass and finished the game with 42 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Mooseheart pushed their score all the way to 56 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 57-56 to Unity Christian Academy.
Parkview Christian Academy bumped their record down to 3-6 with that defeat, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Mooseheart, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Parkview Christian Academy beat Mooseheart 64-57 in their previous matchup back in January of 2020. Will Parkview Christian Academy repeat their success, or does Mooseheart have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
